“Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forwards.”

- Soren Kierkegaard, Danish philosopher

Growing up in Denmark, I always had a fundamental feeling of not belonging. I spent years trying to make sense of that feeling. In many ways, I was always a free spirit.

At 14 years old, I had the opportunity to spend a summer in the U.S. and I think it’s fair to say that it forever changed the course of my life. For the first time, I felt like I belonged. I experienced glimpses of what a future could look like. I experienced a sense of hope and also confusion over this newfound discovery.

This was the beginning of my journey of wander and exploration.

Later I spent years visiting countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, Guatemala and beyond. I firmly believe that my experiences of traveling the world has taught me resilience, trust within myself and the ability to form connections across cultures, languages and races.

In 2012, I found my way back to the U.S. and I have called it home ever since.

In 2013 I started doing Culinary Walking Tours and that became my doorway to coaching. As a tour facilitator, I learned to navigate dynamics, hold space, connect with people’s stories and create from the present moment.

I still had a burning feeling of ‘not belonging’ - and this time, I mean belonging to myself - and I knew I had a desire to have a bigger impact while forming authentic human connections.

This desire led me to The C0-active Training Institute, known as one of the most rigorous Coaching & Leadership schools in world, also affiliated with The International Coach Federation.

Co-active Coaching is an approach that holds the whole human being as the focal point of the coaching experience - including body, mind & spirit. I believe we are greater than our problems and challenges, and through my trainings and certifications, I have found a true passion for being with and seeing human beings more fully, deeply and profoundly.

Privately, I live in Wickford, Rhode Island, together with my Moroccan-American husband and our 1 year old son. At the core of my life is connection, adventure & travel, hospitality, time spent outdoors and a deep love for the ocean & warm weather.
